Do everything without grumbling or arguing.     Philippians 2:14 (NIV)

FOR EVERYONE

  • Food for sale:  Come buy your dinner in front of the gym on Thursday and Friday nights this week as you watch games in the Hardeman Basketball Tournament.  Thursday night is Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches.  Friday night is rice with your choice of topping.  Both nights snow cones, popcorn and drinks will also be for sale.  All brought to you by your Varsity Girls Touch Rugby Team as we fund raise for our trip to Australia in March.  This is great Vanguard value for money!  A great win, win, win opportunity...you get dinner while you cheer on the basketball teams and support the Touch team :) Go Vanguards!

HIGH SCHOOL

  • TOPIK:  Attention High School Korean Students!  The 52nd TOPIK will be held in the Korean Culture Center this coming April 16th.  If you’re interested, please get the application form from the Korean Language classroom (P22).  Submission of the completed application form will be before January 25th to room P22.  If you have questions regarding the TOPIK, come and see me any time.  Mrs. Sunny Kim

  • Service Hours:  Do you need service hours?  Can you stay late on Tuesday, January 24th to help with childcare during the All Staff Meeting?  For details contact Marsha Silva by email or in person.

  • Student Aide:  I still have several teachers who are looking for a student aide this period.  If you’ve got a free period and would like to earn a bit of credit and help someone out, come talk to me this week.  Mr. Barlow

  • Golf Club:  If you are interested in sports but can’t find what you like for the 3rd season, then Golf might be your answer!  Faith is now offering golf as a club for both boys and girls.  David Cho, a new Faith staff member, is a PGA certified golf pro who will be heading up the club and teaching you the skills to be a quality golfer.  If you are interested, there is a sign-up sheet in the high school office.  Mr. Cho will set up a time for you to meet him and answer your questions soon.  Mr. Ellis
