Daily Bulletin Banner

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve,

whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites,

in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. ~Joshua 24:15 NIV

Announcement for Everyone

  • There’s only one week until Advanced Drama’s play, 12th Night! Come to Cadd Theater on Thursday through Saturday of next week, to unravel the comic yarn of twins Viola and Sebastian, lovestruck ruler Duke Orsino, and a rambunctious uncle named Sir Toby Belch. ~Mrs. French

  • Did you know: Every year, a nation needs about 50 thousand pints of blood to treat patients, when there are only about 25 thousand pints available. The National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive for all parents, staff, and students ages 16 and older on Tuesday, November 15. Students age 16-17 must have permission from their parents. All students must receive permission from their teachers to miss class. Sign up in the high school office for a convenient time between 7:30 and 1:30. Donate blood; save a life. ~NHS

  • MUN Ice Cream Sales: The FA MUN Club is selling Korean Ice Cream every Wednesday during lunch time and after school. ~MUN officers

  • What’s more fun to receive for Christmas? Toothpaste or colored pencils? Shampoo or a jump rope? First Aid items or a toy water gun? Instead of wrapping hygiene packs for A4J this year, NHS is promoting The Angel Tree Project which seeks to provide an age- and gender-appropriate gift for the 400 neighborhood children who attend A4J. Commit now to purchase a small gift and bless a neighborhood child. More details on the way! ~NHS

High School

  • Student Leaders: Just a reminder that you can finish what you started from last week homeroom, because of the fire drill. ~Micah Dowell

  • A representative from Ashoka University from Harayana, India will be here today at the beginning of lunch. She is visiting on the recommendation of one of our former teachers - Lori Spurgeon. ~Mr. Bunting

  • SENIORS: Class Meeting, Friday lunch, in Home Ec room. ~Mrs. Winslade

  • Independent Study AP Students: TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER. Did you grow up speaking Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish?! Why not consider taking an AP World Language exam? Intimidated? The good news is, since 2013 all 9 students who studied independently ALL got 5s!  After reading  the course content, talking to your parents and praying about it, email me TODAY to register. If you have questions, email hsd.testing.coordinator@faith.edu.ph or you can set up an appointment to talk things through. ~Mrs. Gumpal

  • Ticket sales for the high school banquet begin Wednesday in front of the high school office. Come buy your tickets to claim a table group with your friends! You can bring that special someone, or simply buy your own ticket and go with friends. You don’t need to bring a date to come and enjoy an enchanted evening! ~Senior officers
