Reporting on the (progress) reports

Thank you everyone for the combined effort to get the mid-quarter reports out. Considering the number of teachers and students in our division and the various technical constraints we are currently under, our turn around time was very good. None of it would have been possible without everyone doing their bit (plus some). Thank you.

There were a few questions/queries from parents after reports went out that highlighted the importance of getting regular feedback about student progress out to parents and students; especially as they adjust to Edline being gone. (That was a mouthful.) The Ineligibility and Concern reports can help with this but the usefulness of this system is dependent on your getting the information to us week to week. Thank you for being diligent about this.

Moving on...SPIRIT WEEK is upon us! A few things to note:
- Hall decorating happens on Tuesday.  Only this Tuesday...

a. high school students may stay on campus beyond 2:30 pm.
activity vans (departing at 4:30pm) are available for high school van riders.

b. PLCs may be somewhat disrupted as class advisers alternate between supervising the halls and participating in the PLCs. If your PLC can be moved to another period in the day, please consider this option.

c. Students who are ineligible do not have to leave campus at 2:30. They can participate in hall decorating.

- We're eager to see students get creative and wacky with their dress ups but please continue to hold them accountable to appropriate and modest dress standards. The dress code for special events applies (See Appendix C in the Student Handbook here or reread last Thursday's and Friday's bulletins by clicking on the BULLETINS tab above ). If in doubt, please ask a student to see one of us in the office.

Have a fruitful and enjoyable week!
