Yet another busy week in HSD...

- Global Citizenship Award: We need your nominations for this EARCOS award. The award is presented to an 11th grade student who embraces the qualities of a global citizen. "This student is a proud representative of his/her nation while respectful of the diversity of other nations, has an open mind, is well informed, aware and empathetic, concerned and caring for others encouraging a sense of community and strongly committed to engagement and action to make the world a better place. Finally, this student is able to interact and communicate effectively with people from all walks of life while having a sense of collective responsibility for all who inhabit the globe." Please fill in this quick form for your nominations. You can submit more than one name but all submissions must be done by April 15.

- SEUSSICAL: The show opens this week. Come enjoy the fun! Please also note that by policy certain concessions for homework and assessments are provided for those heavily involved in the production. Please refer to the list of students sent to you by Wendy B.

- ESD Live Sculpture Display: Mark your calendars - Friday, April 15, 7:55-8:10. Come watch the littles replicate the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture garden right on the Faith Academy circle! This is part of their annual Literacy Day Celebration. You won’t want to miss it.

- ASERT: Meet in the staff lounge for session 1. For session 2: If you still have work to do on Curriculum Trak, please prioritize this. Otherwise, you may meet with your subject teams and or other interest groups.

- Out of the office: The annual LT working retreat is happening this week. I will be out of the office half day on Wednesday and all day Thursday.  Wendy B. is OIC in my absence.

Enjoy your week!
