Un-moving target

Despite the hassles of our gradebook challenge this week, it has been good to be reminded that the Lord is in control and remains steadfast in the midst of any 'craziness' that may come our way.
Thank you again for your patience with this issue.

- There have been a few emails out regarding LearnBoost and Excel as grading options. If you find yourself needing assistance please don't hesitate to send us a note or inquire of others using the same system as you are.  We'll try to get a list of 'who's using what' out by next week.

- HS retreat next week! Be ready for some good solid fun!  It's a time for staff to also get away from school concerns. SO if I start 'talking shop' at the retreat feel free, to remind me I said this in my KYP.:-) A tip I discovered last year: food is an incredible bonding tool!  A pack of chips or bag of M&Ms shared during discussion time really got my group going. BONUS for this year: the Monday after retreat is a HOLIDAY!

- The schedule for next week is now out. Thursday's double block will be run on Tuesday and Thursday will be a shortened day.  The schedule is under the Teacher's Kit for your convenience.

-Goals meetings have begun. Today, I sent out a document called 'Goal setting HSD'. It has a few tips on writing goals well that might help as you fill in your goals sheet. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all about your goals. Remember that you can access your goals sheet by clicking on the Professional Dev't tab above and locating your folder and document from there.

- The Truth Project is being run again this year. Please stay tuned for more info about session schedules and groups. This is a requirement for all staff who have not done it before.

Have a restful weekend!
